About LeafDB
This is a public domain database about trees. The goal of this site is to provide a big clean dataset for people to learn about trees.
Origin
This site is built to test out some ideas around TreeBase. I needed a topic to make a new database about and decided on trees, inspired by the book The Overstory.
Contributing
This project will be a lot more fun with more people. If you are interested in trees (the livings things OR the data structures), drop me a note or just start sending pull requests/creating issues!
